REDARC upgrades ISO 9001-2015 and IS0 14001-2015 Certifications

REDARC has recently upgraded both ISO 9001-2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001-2015 (Environmental Systems) Certificates after an extensive and thorough audit was carried out by risk management experts SAI Global on the 16th to 18th of November.

The dual certificates are an upgrade on previous accreditations ISO 9001-2004 and ISO 14001-2008 which were last awarded after an audit in 2013. REDARC has been certified under Australian SAI Global Assurance Program ISO 9001 since 1996 and ISO 14001 since 2008, and receive yearly audits by SAI to ensure standards and systems continue to comply with the certifications.

The ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management Systems specifies the requirements an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet consumer regulations. They aim to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

The ISO 14001-2015 Environmental Management System highlights the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance. It is used by organisations who intended to manage its environmental strategies in systematic and sustainable manner.

REDARC Quality, Safety and Business Improvement Manager Fabien Claudon said “We are extremely proud of our team and their efforts in attaining these upgraded certifications, it means that quality is not just a concept, but a reality at REDARC. ISO Certification provides evidence to customers, suppliers and employees that REDARC is committed to producing quality products and providing customer satisfaction.”

These upgrades to both ISO standards are drivers for continuous improvement at REDARC. It ensures we are continually recognised internationally as one of the world's best managed and environmentally responsible electronics manufacturing companies. It also offers our customers confidence in our quality assurance and EMS as well as provides assurance on environmental issues to the community and regulatory agencies.
