REDVISION FROM REDARC FEATURED IN CAMPER TRAILER OF THE YEAR

Friday, 19 January 2018

REDARC is excited to have RedVision, the total vehicle management system, featured in Camper Trailer of the Year with Patriot Campers. REDARC congratulates the team at Patriot Campers for being named Camper Trailer of The Year (CTOTY) for the X1, the fifth consecutive win for the Queensland based company.

The 2018 X1 model received a lot of admiration and commendation for its level of innovation, quality of finish and X-factor, which was further enhanced by the inclusion of RedVision. Patriot Campers CEO Justin Montesalvo said he believes the publicity received from winning CTOTY over the last four years has reinvigorated the market to enter CTOTY with their best offerings.

Justin stated that camper trailer submissions in the $45,000+ category had almost doubled from last year and were up against some serious contenders, with one being valued at $140,000. However, Patriot Campers is proud to offer the X1 at the lower price-end of the scale, whilst still maintaining a high build quality, high level of detail and incorporating ground-breaking innovations like the TVMS.

Justin said, “RedVision is a real game changer for Patriots and potentially for the rest of the market. REDARC have once again delivered a high quality and feature-filled product for the RV Industry and we’re excited to be supplying the RedVision as standard fit on X1 Patriot Campers in 2018.”

This year Patriot Campers also entered the X2 Grand Tourer into Camper Trailer of the Year to win the $30-45k category. The Patriot Campers X2 was designed with versatility in mind and is the ultimate alternative to the more family-friendly X1.

REDARC has worked with Patriot Campers for the last 18 months to undergo extensive testing, validation and infield trials to guarantee RedVision is built to withstand our conditions and ensure a successful entry to market.

Nation Sales and Marketing Manager, Ben Marsh said that this is an example of collaboration and cooperation with REDARC and RV Manufacturers to deliver a best outcome for both the installer and end-user in mind.

“REDARC has spent over 20 years working with OEMs and has worked hard behind the scenes to create a product that not only looks good, is user friendly and brings all your needs to one screen but also saves time, money, weight and wiring for the installer.”

“RedVision has already generated plenty of interest when information was released to market last year, and this win solidifies our position as industry leaders and ensures that we are going in the right direction with our focus on delivering a premium solution for installers and end-users alike.”

RedVision is a total vehicle management system, equipped with an In-vehicle mounted display and Bring Your Own Device ‘BYOD’ iOS or android smartphone app that features the control and monitoring of many functions in a camper, caravan, or motorhome in one place.

RedVision allows users to control multiple on-board devices, including the ability to turn lights, inverters, water pumps and other loads such as televisions, electric steps and fridges on or off. It also provides the user with the ability to monitor water levels, temperature, energy (battery power) consumption and storage.

RedVision will also come with the ability to control multiple devices automatically and act as a master switch. For example, lights and all other loads except the fridge can be turned off, just by pressing one button. Or the steps in a caravan can retract and loads can be turned off, when the vehicle ignition is turned on.
