Advanced Australian manufacturer, REDARC Elecronics is excited to be exhibiting at Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2017,the world leading event that brings together the global defence and security sector to innovate and share knowledge. REDARC will be at the event at ExCel London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL, September 12th-15th, Stand S10-210, bench 2 as a member of Team Defence Australia (TDA).

As one of the 42 delegates from Team Defence Australia, attending DESI represents an exciting opportunity for REDARC to raise its profile in the defence industry and collaborate closely with defence related organisations.

Held bi-annually, DESI 2015 was a major success with over 34,000 unique attendees, 1,600 exhibitors and included delegates from 121 countries. This year, it is expected for these numbers to increase, in the areas of air, land, naval, security and joint.

REDARC has over 250 years combined experience within their engineering department, with 30 engineers focused solely on design innovation, a strong quality focus and Lean manufacturing practices embedded across the business.

REDARC’s product design, manufacturing and assembly capabilities in Australia are world class and have placed the business in a good position to be a key supplier of Vetronics systems, and battery and power management solutions for defence systems.

REDARC Managing Director, Mr Anthony Kittel said, “With our facility expansion we are well positioned to work closely with defence partners in providing rapid response time to fully integrated solutions and customise products to any specific requirement.”

REDARC’s quality manufacturing processes place them in an ideal position to provide “built to print” and systems integration solutions.

The expansion will also see REDARC install state of the art testing and validation equipment to help products comply with international regulations and military standards, which will ultimately strengthen capabilities in the defence industries whilst enhancing export potential.

In addition to the facility expansion, which is based in South Australia, REDARC Group’s establishment of an Innovation hub at the Williamtown Aerospace Centre (WAC) in New South Wales, will allow greater collaboration between defence and aerospace industry companies and will enable ease of access to global supply chains.

“Our plans are to ensure defence is a strategic pillar in our organisation as we can develop military spec products”, Mr Kittel stated. REDARC has worked with Defence Primes including BAE Systems and Thales to provide customised solutions.
