REDARC powers the Big Red Bash

REDARC is pleased to announce their joint sponsorship of the Sound and Light Spectacular, lighting up the third annual Birdsville Big Red Bash from the 5th-6th of July.

The iconic outback two-day desert music festival is staged at the famous Big Red sand dune on the edge of the Simpson Desert outside Birdsville in Queensland, headlined by none other than living Australian rock legend icon - Jimmy Barnes.

Accompanying Barnes on the bill are fellow rock legends, Jon Stevens and Diesel, along with country music trio, The McClymonts and Aussie larrikins of music and stage Frankie J Holden and Wilbur Wilde, who will rev up the crowd with light-hearted banter and captivating musical performances. Victoria Edwards will return for her second Big Red Bash, while Heels on Wheels and Mick Lindsay will join the journey to the outback.

The 40m high Big Red sand dune, described as the most spectacular outdoor concert venue in Australia, will provide a breathtaking backdrop to the artists performing on stage.

Performer Frankie J Holden said “Every Australian should experience ‘red dirt’ country at least once in their lives and the Birdsville Big Red Bash is a perfect opportunity to do just that. I’m looking forward to the Bash tremendously: the music (of course), but also the journey, the destination and the camaraderie.”

The popularity of the line-up and location has seen crowds double on previous years at the unique setting, where light projections showcasing the giant red dune compete with the stars on stage and the dazzling starry night skies to amaze the audiences.

In 2015, organisers will extend the ‘Vivid-style’ light and sound show projected for a whole night onto Big Red on Sunday, July 5th, which REDARC are Co-sponsors.

REDARC has a number of products tailored specifically for the 4WD, camping and caravanning enthusiast to ensure vehicles are all charged up for the journey.
