REDARC Hummingbird's GPS Speed Alert provides drivers with an accurate, highly visible fast response digital speedometer and over-speed alert in a small, easy to mount unit.
The GPS Speed Alert requires no installation or calibration and is only connected to the vehicle through a cigarette lighter power plug.
POWERFUL PERFORMANCE
The GPS Speed Alert uses satellites to determine three-dimensional speed and heading independently of the vehicle. No calibration is required for the unit to display correct speed in kilometers per hour or miles per hour.
The user can choose between 3 displays to show speed only, speed and heading or speed heading, position and battery voltage, or odometer modes.
The unit contains an internal antenna and the only electrical connection required is via a cigarette lighter plug that can be used in 12V or 24V vehicles.
Speed is displayed on a colour screen; the colour changes from green to red as the user-settable speed-threshold is exceeded. A user selectable buzzer can also be enabled to sound as an over-speed warning.
Please note that the GPS Speed Alert does not change with the local speed zones.
The speed-threshold can be set by the user by pressing the up and down arrows on the keypad. To change the speed unit and to enable and disable the buzzer, the menu key in conjunction with a on-screen menu is used.
The unit is mounted with a flexible windscreen-mount, but can also be attached using any standard camera mount including those available from RAM.

REDARC offers customers free freight within Australia on products purchased via the REDARC website, unless a dangerous goods charge is deemed necessary in order to ship products of a lithium chemistry.All products have a 5 day lead time before shipment after which it will be shipped via your preferred shipping method. For alternative freight options please contact REDARC at power@redarc.com.au
For international orders, freight will be calculated at time of checkout. Orders will be shipped from our factory in Lonsdale with delivery timeframes dependant on location.
Where orders are shipped to a delivery address outside Australia, you are responsible for the compliance terms as written in our Website Terms of Use
