And they're off - Travelling to the Big Red Bash

Ben and Andre from REDARC have begun their two-day journey to the Birdsville Big Red Bash. On Saturday they will set up ready for the first night of BRB on Monday.

Here’s what they have been up to.

They’ve come prepared for rain, hail or shine, but luckily the journey there has been relatively good. You may have heard earlier in the week that the rains up in Birdsville have forced a change in venue for Big Red and some roads have closed. But the weather has come good again and some roads have re-opened. It certainly wasn’t going to stop the boys from going that’s for sure!

Visit to get all the deets on the venue change and some FAQ’s.

Stopping in for a bite, which one would you prefer? We did say to bring your own food and water but sometimes it’s good to stop in, get to know some of the locals and try out some of country deliciousness. Be sure to stop by into the Birdsville bakery while there.

Check out these views. I hope no one forgot their camera, some of these views you won’t get anywhere else.

Make sure to check back on Monday where we share more snaps of the boys’ journey there and setting up camp.

And if you’re heading to Big Red, make sure to say hi to the guys.
