Coming into the Christmas break is the perfect time to get out and about with the family, but unfortunately, it also means that in a lot of places you can't have fires and that takes away some of the classic camp oven meals we're all used to cooking.
To get around that, Fire To Fork have a little recipe that only requires a fridge and few basic ingredients that will get all the tongues wagging around the campsite; a no-bake cheesecake.
No-bake cheesecake camp cooking recipe
- 300g of biscuits (I used a few Tim Tams and a few Scotch Fingers)
- 150g melted butter (if you have time, just leave it out in the sun to melt)
- 375g cream cheese
- 400g condensed milk
- 2tsp vanilla essence
- Some seasonal fruit (berries, mangoes, cherries, etc)
For a little extra fun you can crush up some Tim Tam's and sprinkle them over the top and once that's done all that's left to do it serve up and enjoy.
