Alternating Headlight Flashers
The microprocessor controlled REDARC AHLF200 is suitable for FIRE and other
emergency vehicles. It has two outputs, each rated at 200W, to provide
alternating LEFT-RIGHT headlight flashing for 12V or 24V negative earth
vehicles. When the AHLF200 is on and the PARK light switch is off, the
headlights flash alternately. When the PARK light switch is on, the AHLF200
is disabled (the PARK lights over-ride the AHLF200). This allows both
headlights to operate normally, regardless of the position of the "ON"
switch.
The AHLF200 is rated at 200W per side and may be used to flash either HIGH
or LOW beams.
The flash rate is 90 flashes per
minute.
| Standard features available |
- Solid State Controller for long life, and accurate switching.
- Mechanical relays are not used for flashing functions.
- Designed for Emergency Vehicle applications.
- Custom flash rates can be easily catered for.
- Each headlight output is rated at 200watts.
- Multi voltage capability - Can operate from 12VDC or 24VDC vehicles.
- Short circuit / overload protected.

Multiple bus light flashers
The microprocessor controlled REDARC BUSF200 has five outputs for school bus
hazard lights on 12V or 24V negative earth vehicles.
The alternating outputs and strobe output draw their current from the main
supply input, with a small current drawn by the "ON" switch.
The alternating headlight outputs, the strobe output and the high beam
disable operate only while the door is open. The alternating amber flashing
lights ("WIG-WAG") outputs operate while the door is open and for 20 seconds
after it is closed.
The two "DOOR OPEN" inputs allow for either a positive or ground signal to
trigger the BUSF200, depending on vehicle door switch wiring.
| Standard features available |
- Solid State controller for long life, and accurate switching.
- Mechanical relays are not used for flashing functions.
- Short circuit and overload protection.
- Suitable for a wide range of vehicles.
- Each headlight output is rated at 200watts.
- Designed to meet stringent ADR requirements.
- Multi voltage capability - Can operate from 12VDC or 24VDC vehicles.
- One unit covers all synchronous bus operational requirements including:
- Headlight flashers, rear light (Wig Wag) flashers.
- "Wig Wag" delay.
