24 Volt DC to 12 Volt DC
| Switchmode 24vdc to 12vdc single circuit voltage reducers designed based on the feedback of Automotive Electricians Australia wide. The reducers come with pre - drilled mounting holes which enables faster installation. The SMF reducer has been designed to protect itself electronically from external fault conditions and will shut down until the fault has been removed and then will switch on automatically when the fault has been rectified.
The SMF range of reducers are fully protected against water ingress by a special silicone potting compound which also helps protect the unit against shock and vibration thereby adding many years of life to the units and making it suitable for Australia’s harsh conditions.
The reducers have passed the very stringent European standard for EMC which makes them suitable for use with radios of all frequencies without creating interference.
They can be used for almost any 12volt application including all types of radios, lighting, computer and sensitive communication equipment, mobile phones, fridges, pumps (including hydraulic), TVs, sirens, ABS brakes, marine applications etc.
The reducer is ideally suited to applications that require a low noise output and are designed to operate sensitive radio and communication equipment.
